Claremont, NH - $5 1882 Brown Back Fr. 472 The Peoples NB Ch. # (N)4793 PMG Very Fine 20.While small size examples turn up occasionally on this scarce Sullivan County bank, large notes are another matter entirely with few offerings in recent years. This pleasing $5 Brown Back is one of only four such pieces reported and the only example from that quartet to have been publicly offered since 2006. It features attractive color for the grade with its only flaw being a small repaired tear.
