Fr. 354 $2 1890 Treasury Note PCGS Banknote Very Fine 30.One of the scarcer low-denomination Treasury Notes, this is an elusive type to obtain. There are barely 50 known from the 500,000 printed. This evenly circulated ornate back $2 McPherson, which is a new addition to the census, retains much paper body and shows excellent color. It's a desirable example in a comment-free holder. This past November, we sold a note in a PMG Very Fine 30 holder for $3,600.
