Fr. 1173a $10 1922 Gold Certificate PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.Excellent color on both sides and natural paper wave are two traits of this $10 Gold small serial number variety. Friedberg 1173a notes are many times scarcer in high grade than Fr. 1173 pieces. Serial numbers for Fr. 1173a measure 4mm, while those of Fr. 1173 measure 5mm.
