One of Seven Known Battleship Star Notes
Fr. 757* $2 1918 Federal Reserve Bank Star Note PMG About
Uncirculated 55 EPQ.A charming, rare, and highly desirable Cleveland Battleship star that has been off the market for almost a dozen years. It is one of only four enumerated in Track & Price for Fr. 757*. Any Cleveland Battleship star is rare, as Track & Price lists only one known for Fr. 758* and a mere two known for Fr. 759*. The 2007 third and final edition of The Complete Catalog of United States Large Size Star Notes by Doug Murray lists the same star note serial numbers for Fr. 757* and 758* and one less for Fr. 759*. That tells us that those population figures combined have only increased by a single serial number in the last 18 years.
