Spinner, the father of Postage and Fractional Currency, gazes out from this immaculate third issue 50¢ note with the 1 design figure in the face field. The bronze surcharges are still fresh and the note is fully framed on bright paper. The slightly tight right margin keeps this example from an even more lofty grade.
