40.Unlike the other Friedberg numbers that represent the 1890 $10 Treasury Note type, this is extremely rare in high grade. A lone third party Uncirculated example has ever appeared at auction. Extremely Fine and About Uncirculated examples appear about once a year. This example boasts bold colors on bright white paper. A very nice example of a scarce Treasury Note.
