Fr. 18 $1 1869 Legal Tender PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.The colors on this $1 Rainbow note clearly show how this early $1 Legal Tender got its nickname. Only its centering prevents consideration of an even higher grade for this well printed note that includes a wide swath of blue anti-counterfeiting ink. In our recent FUN auction, we offered a PCGS Banknote Choice Unc 63 example which realized $6,600.
