Appealing Fr. 95a $10 Legal
Fr. 95a $10 1863 Legal Tender PMG Extremely Fine 40.The Fr. 95a $10 Legal is fairly scarce in all grades with approximately 55 known. This lightly handled New Series 47 note has the eye appeal of a much finer note. The generally wide and even margins frame an example with a rich green protector and vivid red treasury seal. It was once part of the Herman Halpern collection which was sold in a 1993 auction.
