Superb Gem Boston District $500
Fr. 2201-A $500 1934 Federal Reserve Note. PCGS Banknote Superb
Gem Unc 67 PPQ.A well preserved, embossed, and margined Boston $500 with centering that is within a half a millimeter of being perfect. Ideal color of inks and paper on both the face and back top off the description of this lovely example. It has serial number A00056010A and falls within a short run of notes where every piece has earned a third party grade of 65 through 68 save for one. Also, we offered a different PMG 67 EPQ Fr. 2201-A that realized $32,400 in January 2022. Our archives state that the same note closed at $9,400 in August 2015. One can surely expect the upward trend of Superb Gem $500s to continue without exception.
