Fr. 126b $20 1863 Legal Tender PMG Choice Uncirculated
64.A gorgeous New Series 23 Fr. 126b that falls within a run of lovely Uncirculated notes. This piece displays perfect paper originality and excellent margins all the way around. We also observe ideal color of the inks and paper that has not diminished one iota since this pristine note came off the ABNCo presses during the Civil War. In fact, "Great Color" is stated on the PMG back label. We have offered this strictly original note two times previously with the last time being in April 2006. It remains one of the nicest 1863 $20 Legals that we have ever had the pleasure of offering. All in all, it is an exceptional piece which will easily delight even the most discriminating of collectors.
