Fine 40.A quite attractive, boldly printed example of this Minneapolis $50 Red Seal that is one of just twenty pieces in the census and is tied for the finest known. Crossing the public auction block for the first time, this pretty high denomination note is well centered with only minimal traces of circulation. PMG has graded just two pieces at this level with nothing finer. It's also the finest graded example of this tough Friedberg number in almost ten years when a PCGS 40 example brought over $10,000 in 2012.
