Newport, RI - $10 1882 Brown Back Fr. 480 The First National Bank Ch. # 1021 PMG Very Fine 30.First Charters and Brown Backs only from this Westerly bank that closed its doors in 1905. One of just a dozen notes in the census, this well margined $10 features the much scarcer early variety of Brown Back with the vertical charter number.
