Small Seal $20 Decatur Silver Certificate
Fr. 312 $20 1880 Silver Certificate PMG Very Fine 25.This is one of just 35 examples enumerated in the Track & Price census for this Decatur. By far the scarcest of the four numbers that cover the short-lived $20 1880 Silvers and the only one of the four with a small red seal, making it a true one-number type. PMG mentions minor repairs on the back of the holder, and they are indeed minor as they are not distracting at all. Without the repairs, this would be close to a five-figure note.
