Fr. 24 $1 1875 Legal Tender PCGS Banknote Very Fine 30.Serial number E888572 plate letter D is the highest serial number of the 21 Fr. 24 Series D notes documented in Track & Price. It is also the single highest graded example of this Friedberg number by PCGS Banknote. Our consignor was the winning bidder on this attractive mid-grade note in a comment free third party holder at our April 2017 CSNS auction, bringing this note home for $7,050. Of the 21 notes listed in T&P only two pieces are listed as having EPQ/PPQ surfaces and another eight notes have problems such as repairs, restorations, or retouched listed on their third party labels. Therefore, comment free Fr. 24 notes are consistently in demand due to their low population figure.
