Farmersville, TX - $10 1882 Value Back Fr. 577 The Farmers & Merchants National Bank Ch. # (S)6011 PMG Very Fine 30.A note from a small Collin County town between the county seat of McKinney and Greenville in Hunt County. Less than a dozen large size are reported from this charter number that exited the banking stage in 1927 with this offering a new addition. It's also just the second Value Back to surface from this charter and is easily the finer of the pair with the other known note, also a $10, grading just Fine. It is a well printed and embossed note with excellent color and bold stamped signatures. If not for a couple of trivial pinholes, it likely would have received the EPQ designation from PMG.
