Electra, TX - $20 1902 Date Back Fr. 646 The First National Bank Ch. # (S)10050 PMG Very Fine 20.
A scarce bank which issued large notes only between 1911 and 1929 and which was not represented at all in the massive Philpott and Irish collections. This piece is one of only eight known from this one bank locale, is a bright and crisp $20 which does have some rust stains and discoloration on the back. In our 2018 Central States auction, we sold a PMG Very Fine 25 example for $4,080.
