Description
Matte Offset Printing of Back to Front Errors Fr. 2030-F $10 1993 Federal Reserve Notes. Twenty Examples. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ; Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ (13); Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ (6).A non-consecutive run, this is the largest grouping of this error type that we have offered. The error Atlanta $10s in this lot are of the scarcer matte offset variety with the crosshatch inking pattern. All of these errors are from the A1 sheet position, which is the upper left position on a sheet of 32 notes. Notes are serial numbered in descending order; therefore, the darkest examples of this error type in this lot have the highest serial numbers. Conversely, the lightest examples of this error type have the lowest serial numbers. The percentage of matte offset coverage varies from note to note, with many of these errors being striking for the error type. All of the errors in this lot would be classified as "partial offset errors," with a handful having about 50% coverage. (Total: 20 notes)
