Peabody, MA - $50 1882 Brown Back Fr. 508 The Warren National
Bank Ch. # 616 PMG Fine 12.An extremely rare note that is the sole $50 Brown Back reported from this Essex County bank. It is also one of only a dozen examples of this tough type and denomination recorded for the entire state of Massachusetts, half of which are from Boston banks. This piece has a few minor flaws, including a few edge tears and a small paper pull on the face, but its colors and signatures remain quite bold.
