Pawling, NY - $1 Original Fr. 380b The National Bank of Pawling Ch. # 1269 PMG Very Fine 25.A rare early note from this Dutchess County bank, this is one of just two Original Series Aces in the census. It is the finer of the pair and the only example to have ever made a public appearance, the last occurrence being in our 1998 FUN auction. It has a repaired tear, but, otherwise, is very attractive with very bold ink colors and dark pen signatures.
