Valier, MT - $20 1929 Ty. 1 The First National Bank Ch. # 9520
PMG Very Fine 25.This note represents a very rare Montana bank that is even rarer in terms of public appearances. While four small size (along with a single large) are reported from this issuer, this $20 is the only example from this tough charter to have ever made a public appearance. That lone occurrence was back in our 2009 FUN auction. It is an evenly circulated and solid note that will surely be of great interest to the collectors of this western state.
