Rare Auburn Lazy Deuce
Auburn, NY - $2 Original Fr. 387a The First National Bank Ch. #
231 PMG Very Good 8 Net.A rare note, this piece comes from a Cayuga County bank which issued First Charters and Brown Backs only before the receiver arrived to close the doors in early 1888. One of just four pieces in the census from this tough charter, it is rather circulated with some tape repaired edge tears. However, it still faces up quite nicely for the grade with good color and bold signatures.
