Boston, MA - $5 1875 Fr. 401 The Columbian National Bank Ch. # 1029 PMG Very Fine 25.This is a somewhat tougher Boston bank that is well known for its surviving population of First Charter Ace and Deuces. Fives, however, are another story, with fewer than half a dozen pieces in the census. This is a very attractive offering with bold ink colors and dark pen signatures. PMG's only comment about this pretty note is just an acknowledgement of its typical New England trim.
