Description
Lebanon, IN - $20 1875 Fr. 435 The Lebanon National Bank Ch. # 2660 PMG Choice Fine 15.This is one of just six notes known from this very scarce bank, which received its charter at the very end of the First Charter period. The institution issued First Charters, Red Seals, and 1902 Date Backs before bowing out in 1910. Interestingly, four of the six known notes are 1875 $20s, including this example that is making its first appearance since our 2006 FUN auction. It exhibits just plenty of honest wear and retains nice color and signatures.
