Saint Louis, MO - $50 1882 Date Back Fr. 563 The State
NB Ch. # (M)5172 PMG About Uncirculated 55.A most attractive example of this scarce type and denomination that has the look of at least a Choice New note within its holder. In fact, in its last auction appearance in 1986, it was called Choice New which is quite understandable as this pretty note shows no evidence of circulation. It is a bright, well margined specimen with blazing ink colors and bold signatures.
