National Bank Ch. # (W)8089 PMG Choice Very Fine 35.The second of this magnificent pair of serial number 1 Wyoming Red Seals that were consigned by a small-town banking family, this one is a $20. It is, of course, the bottom note from the first sheet of $10-$10-$10-$20 Red Seals issued by this bank. It displays the same vibrant color and bold pen signatures as the previous lot, as well as PMG's comment "Good Color."
More importantly, it also becomes the first serial number 1 $20 Red Seal to be reported for the entire state of Wyoming with the other three pieces known all being $10s. Perhaps both notes will remain together after this evening or they may end up residing in two different collections. Either way, they certainly represent a wonderful opportunity for anyone who desires, and can afford, the best in the way of rare and unique National Bank Notes.
