Bennington, VT - $10 1882 Value Back Fr. 577 The Bennington
County National Bank Ch. # (N)2395 PMG Extremely Fine 40.A very nice example of an excessively rare type and denomination for the state of Vermont as it is one of only two $10 Value Backs reported for all banks combined. It's also the only one of the pair to have been publicly offered, last appearing on the market in our May 2001 auction. It is also a quite lovely note with great color and clear signatures.
