Fully Uncirculated Centreville Small Size
Centreville, MD - $5 1929 Ty. 2 The Centreville National Bank
Ch. # 2341 PCGS Banknote Uncirculated 62.A lovely example from Maryland's eastern shore, this is finest of a mere ten small size reported and the only example to have received a CU grade from either of the major services. Crossing the auction block for the first time, this $5 displays bold ink colors and embossing with only its margins holding it back from a higher grade. Two years ago, we auctioned another Type 2 $5 from here, in a PMG Very Fine 30 holder, for $3,360.
