Hastings, MN - $10 1882 Brown Back Fr. 480 The First National
Bank Ch. # 496 PMG Very Fine 20.This is the first large size note that we have ever been able to offer from this long-lived Dakota County bank that operated in a community located near the confluence of the Mississippi and St. Croix Rivers. That fact is not surprising as just five large are reported from this charter, two of which are locked away in the Higgins Museum. The first of the remaining three notes to make a public appearance since 2010, this is an evenly circulated and solid $10 Brown Back with pleasing color and clear pen signatures.
