Owenton, KY - $100 1902 Date Back Fr. 689 The First National Bank Ch. # (S)2868 PMG Choice Very Fine 35.This is one of only nine large size reported from this scarce Owen County institution that issued only the high denominations in both large and small. All of the large notes in the census for this bank are $100s, and this offering is the only one of that group to have crossed the auction block in the past ten years. It is an attractive mid-grade $100 with nice color, bold signatures, and solid serial number 777. PMG has mentioned minor repairs, but nothing is readily apparent.
