Orosi, CA - $10 1929 Ty. 1 The National Bank of Orosi Ch. #
10328 PMG Very Fine 25.A great California note, this piece is the only small size reported from this Tulare County issuer that was only in business from 1913 until its liquidation in August of 1930. Consequently, the bank only issued 149 sheets of Series 1929 notes, with just this $10 known today. Crossing the auction block for the first time, it is a crisp mid-grade example with some staining, but it does provide a great opportunity for one determined California collector to finally acquire a note from this rare charter.
