Cortez, CO - $20 1902 Plain Back Fr. 652 The Montezuma Valley National Bank Ch. # 9100 PMG Very Fine 30.An attractive new entrant to the census, this piece hails from the only collectible bank in this small community. It is the first large size from here to be publicly offered anywhere since 2009. The census shows just eight large recorded from this charter, none of which grades above Very Fine. Therefore, this $20 is likely the finest known. While the stamped signatures have faded, the paper remains bright on this scarce note with just even wear.
