National Bank Ch. # 2832 PCGS Very Fine 30PPQ.This is a wonderful new addition to the census of this always popular and rare Hot Springs bank. It is just the fourth $5 Brown Back to be reported and only the fifth large size overall to surface from here. It is also quite likely the finest of that quartet as this note has it all - wide margins, a fancy bank title layout, great color and signatures, and original surfaces. It is the first $5 Brown Back from this charter to make a public appearance since a PCGS Very Fine 20PPQ example sold for over $5,000 at auction in 2011.
