Richmond, VA- J.D. Edwards 50¢ July 14, 1862 Jones-Littlefield PR60-296 PMG Choice Fine 15.Edwards provided a mail carrier and news agent service to the Confederate army. This variety does not indicate any affiliation with the Eighth Brigade. Notes from this issuer are very rare, with Jones-Littlefield estimating a surviving population of perhaps 2-4 examples. This note, while well circulated, has survived completely intact without any repairs or meaningful impairments.
