Description

Richmond, VA- "C." Constant 15¢ Jan. 13, 1862 Jones-Littlefield PR60-196 Remainder PMG Very Fine 20.
This too is quite possibly an issue of F(ruma) Constant who ran a confectionary store in Richmond according to the 1860 Federal census. Note that the initial and the "C" in "Constant" do not appear to be the same letter. This note has the same vignettes as the previous note, with PMG noting a non-contemporary penciled notation on the back. A bright, well printed note that faces up well. We have not offered this denomination before.
