Third Liberty Loan 4 1/4% Gold Bond of 1928 $100 May 9, 1918 PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ.A "long" format bond, this piece has 12 of 17 interest coupons attached. This is a "long" bond as the coupons would have started with the fifth coupon. The "short bond" that preceded the acquiring of this "long bond" by the bearer had coupons 1 through 4. The Treasury seal at lower center is strongly embossed.
