Bank Ch. # 11130 PMG Choice Fine 15.This great Arizona note is the only Serial Number 1 small size example reported from this Mesa bank and is being publicly offered for the first time. Aside from a dozen Number 1 notes tied up in a pair of uncut sheets from Prescott, this offering is one of only four Number 1 Series 1929 examples reported for the entire state, making it even more desirable for the collectors seeking a Number 1 note from each state. Its paper is a bit toned and it has had some repairs, but it does face up nicely for the grade.
