T17 $20 1861 PF-2 Cr. UNL PMG About Uncirculated 55.This design features vignettes of Liberty at left and The Arts, Ceres, and Navigation at center. An elaborate green security tint, whose left end arches over Liberty's head was added to deter counterfeiting. 43,732 notes were issued between September and early November, 1861. PMG mentions some faint penciled annotations on the back which affect nothing.
