64.Sometimes we can be accused of overworking the phrase "as nice as the day it was printed," but that comment seems totally appropriate for this absolutely stunning note. It has somehow survived several wars and depressions, and yet has retained its beauty and desirability for some 157 years after it was issued. It is printed on bright paper with dark original green, red, and black colors. Even PMG opines that the note has "Great Color." The note has decent centering and ample margins, reminiscent of even higher grades. This is the type of note that can bring any collection it joins to the next level.
