Description

Finest Graded at PCGS 1918 Philadelphia $5 FRBN

Fr. 783 $5 1918 Federal Reserve Bank Note PCGS Very Choice New 64.
From our 2014 Long Beach Auction where we said, "Philadelphia $5 FRBNs are scarce as there are less than 100 serial numbers divided almost equally between two Friedberg numbers. The current example is the second highest graded Fr. 783 that has been in any of our auctions going back to November 1990." That evening this note, which is the highest graded at PCGS, realized $4700.00.
