Matagorda, TX- County of Matagorda $1 July 1, 1862 Medlar UNLThis remainder, printed on the back of a Galveston draft, has one of the two signatures that it needed to circulate. We have previously sold only two pieces from this county issue. Both raw examples were in comparable grades to tonight's offering and each note brought $460 in April 2006. PCGS New 62PPQ.
