$100 Austin Brown Back
Austin, TX - $100 1882 Brown Back Fr. 530 The State NB Ch. # (S)2617A very scarce type and denomination from the Texas state capital, with this only the third $100 Brown Back reported. One, a unique note from the First NB, is listed without a serial number and has not been seen in decades, and two are known from this institution, a lesser grade example which sold for over $13,000 five years ago and this new to the market piece, which is offered here for the first time. Pen signed PMG Very Fine 25, a significant Texas rarity worthy of a strong bid.
