Elusive $20 San Francisco District Replacement Note
Fr. 1870-L* $20 1929 Federal Reserve Bank Note. PMG Very Fine 25.A pleasingly wholesome, mid-grade example of this elusive San Francisco Star note. Track & Price lists only six known examples, with this specimen being toward the upper end of the population report. PMG has graded one finer example, a Very Fine 30, although that note exhibited minor rust. The example offered tonight has no adverse comments whatsoever and should be a welcome addition to any advanced collection of FRBN's.
