Fr. 21 $1 1875 Series A Very Fine-Extremely Fine. Only about 20 examples are known for this number in all grades combined. This one is very well margined, with better than average color remaining, although the paper is lightly toned. The last note of this number in about this grade that we know of was a VF that we sold in 2003 for $1725. This superior piece should realize a good bit more than that.Auction Info
