Fr. 190b $10 1864 Compound Interest Treasury Note PCGS Apparent Very Fine 20.Early paper used to print notes for the Treasury was susceptible to age and became brittle very quickly. This note shows some minor splits and damage due to the aged paper. However, the bronze overprint, which often turns green is still pleasant and attractive. Some remaining embossing is seen on the serial numbers.
