Newly Reported Blue Earth Large Size
Blue Earth, MN - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 633 The First NB Ch. # (M)5393A great new discovery from this always in demand location that bears one of the more appealing town names to appear on National Bank Notes. While small size notes from this issuer appear on a regular basis, large size are downright rare with this piece only the fifth example to surface. Of the four other notes, only one has ever appeared at public sale when a slightly higher grade piece sold for almost $4,000 in 2006. While the signatures have faded on this specimen, it retains nice color and solid paper for its PMG assigned grade of Very Fine 25.
