Albemarle, NC - $10 1929 Ty. 2 The First NB Ch. # 11091This note attests to the impossibility of using census figures to determine the value of any particular National Bank Note. While the census lists 23 extant Series 1929 examples, no one is certain whether these notes exist primarily in sheet form or as singles, as there have only been two offerings of any note from this community at public sale during the past two decades. One came back in 1996, and the other in 2003, with this offering perhaps being this bank's once in a decade appearance.
