Fr. 2210-K $1000 1928 Federal Reserve Note. PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.
An elusive issue for the series especially so in this grade range but also given the fact this well inked beauty is from the Dallas district greatly adds to its appeal. The reason for the lack of the EPQ suffix is hard to fathom as the note displays deeply punched embossing and the holder carries the comment "Great Embossing." The last new example from the Dallas district we sold was a PCGS 64PPQ note which realized $12,650 in January at FUN. Interestingly enough that note was consecutive to this piece.
