Description
New Jersey 1786 3s Very Fine. Over the years, we've handled only eight notes from this extremely rare issue, and this is the second finest of them. The note is fully Very Fine from the face, the back has three strips of relatively modern tape, apparently placed there in an attempt to reinforce folds; this note was never in pieces. This is the final New Jersey issue, and although it was printed in quantities comparable to the previous issues, very few examples have survived.Auction Info
