St. Joseph, MO- Western Bank of Missouri $1 July 1, 1861 G38aAn exceptionally rare note payable at this bank's branch in Glasgow. It's listed as SENC in Haxby, and we only know of one other. Rough but still quite collectible, and surprisingly nice looking for its PCGS assigned grade of Apparent Very Good 8, with some splits and tears common to the grade and severed and reattached as well.
