Mansfield, LA- Parish of DeSoto $20 Jan. 15, 1863A great rarity from an extremely scarce parish. This is the only example of this denomination from DeSoto Parish that we have ever encountered. Fortunately for collectors, it is a real beauty with its only defect a couple of small edge splits that affect nothing. The paper is virtually as new, and the red "Twenty" overprint is sharp and bold. PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 45. We are certain to see some active bidding from this state's many collecting enthusiasts.
